Composer Notes... A larger than life character, this piece was requested by Karl Keldermans as a celebration of the life of Robert Byrnes. The composer will never forget his wonderful description at the GCNA Congress held in Springfield, IL, of how he came to compose his popular piece “On the San Antonio River”.
